SwanCare Ningana is a new 124-suite aged care facility nestled within Western Australia's largest retirement and aged care campus, SwanCare Bentley Park.
Located just 15 minutes from the Perth CBD, SwanCare Ningana provides some of the best aged care within a welcoming environment designed to keep people together in the latter part of life.
The design concept imitates the familiar concepts in the outside world, offering a home, street, neighbourhood, and community. Clusters of eight to ten rooms share dining, living and kitchenette areas and a protected winter garden allowing access to the outdoors.
While SwanCare Ningana is designed for anyone in need of quality residential aged care, it has been thoughtfully designed to take a whole-of-building approach to dementia care. The circulation layout is simple, designed around an active central courtyard with few 'decision points', reducing possibilities for confusion, and encouraging daylight and natural ventilation.
Reflecting the need identified by SwanCare for some larger rooms that might be occupied by singles, couples or siblings, the facility offers choice and flexibility.
