Enerpac employs Industrial Expert to support booming Mining and Industry sectors

Ray Paasila, an engineering project manager with more than twenty years experience working across a range of Australian industry sectors, has been appointed in Australasia by the worlds leading bolting and high-force tool group, Enerpac. As Enerpacs Technical Support Engineer, Mr Paasila will utilise his extensive hands-on engineering experience to assist customers to obtain the greatest safety, precision and efficiency benefits from Enerpac equipment. Working under Enerpac Engineering Manager Mr Tony Cooper, Mr Paasila will add his project management, estimation and trouble-shooting experience to Enerpacs collective expert knowledge. His primary role will be to support Enerpacs extensive distribution network and territory managers in assisting customers with projects requiring efficient, safe and time-saving technologies, including bolting, lifting, forming, workholding and process engineering. Mr Cooper says that as well as offering strong hands-on technical capabilities, Mr Paasila will link customers with the world-wide resources and design capabilities of the Actuant Corporation, the worlds largest manufacturer of bolting equipment and technology, of which Enerpac is part. Actuants sales exceed $A1 billion a year. Australian and APAC region mining and industry are experiencing sustained growth, as well as revolutionary changes in business practice and standards, says Mr Cooper.
