Bialik College .. a private Jewish Day School in Melbourne Australia.
Bialik College is a private cross-communal Jewish Zionist primary and secondary school, embracing an inclusive approach to Judaism. All students attend one campus in Hawthorn, creating a close-knit community of students from as young as 3 months in the Creche, and 3 to 18 years in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) and main school.

Demographically, the majority of Bialik College students hail from the suburbs of Caulfield and Elsternwick, many travelling to school on public transport or Bialik College school buses.

The College's cross-communal ethos, which includes aspects from all streams of Judaism, is the closest fit to the mosaic of Jewish identity in Melbourne. Jewish Life at Bialik is interwoven into every facet of the school, whether on camp, in the classroom or curriculum or at assemblies. Shabbatonim, festivals and commemorations receive special attention at Bialik. All Year 7 students participate in the year-long B'NEI MITZVAH program, which emphasises community responsibility and social action and culminates in a combined B'nei Mitzvah ceremony. Bar-and Bat-Mitzvah lessons are offered free of charge as part of the College's Jewish Studies' program.

A before-school care facility operates daily from 7.15am at the Early Learning Centre (ELC) for children in Kindergarten, Prep and Year 1. After-school care is available on Monday to Thursday from 3.30pm to 6.00pm and on Friday from 12.00pm to 5.00pm.

Early Learning Centre (ELC)
Bialik College's Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a registered Long Day care centre.

Bialik's ELC is inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational approach which challenges the role of educators to strive to make visible the curiosity and resilience of the young child through active listening. Our youngest learners are encouraged to be risk-takers, to test theories and to question, and in doing so acquire sound basic skills in all areas including technology.

Kinder at Bialik College
Bialik College is the community's inclusive Jewish school with Creche - Year 12 on the one campus. As a pluralist Jewish school we are proud of our ethos through which all mainstream strands of Judaism are embraced and taught with equivalence.
FULL AND PART-TIME KINDER OPTIONS
We understand that families want flexible options to fit within their busy work and family lifestyles. We give families the option to choose between 3, 4 or 5 days for Kinder 3 and 4 or 5 days for Kinder 4.
AWARD-WINNING EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
Our Early Learning Centre had its routine assessment and exceeded the national quality standards in all seven areas:

Educational program and practice
Children's health and safety
Physical environment
Staffing arrangements
Relationships with children
Collaborative partnerships
