  We wish to invite you to stay at our award winning caravan park in Charters Towers, the Dalrymple Tourist Van Park. You'll find us on the northern entrance to Charters Towers, on the Lynd Highway and yet only 1.8 kilometres north of the Information Centre and city centre. As you may have to pass other caravan parks in Charters Towers to get to us, we will go the extra mile for you and ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.We have all of the features you have a right to expect- spotlessly clean amenities, accommodation including ensuited fully self contained cabins, grass and slab powered sites for caravans, camper trailers, fifth wheelers and motor homes, large camping area, sparkling saltwater pool with children's pool, covered camp kitchen and BBQs,jumping pillow, free WiFi ; shop/kiosk, tourist information , gas refills, dump point, wheelchair accessible amenities and plenty of room for large rigs on our 6 acres of landscaped, shaded grounds.Even after we've got all that right, we want to do more, so we organise social events throughout the winter season, including Aussie Devonshire teas, low cost meals and evening outback campfires where you can sit around our fire pit and yarn to your heart's content. Enjoy bird watching in our park and if you're a pet owner, we welcome your pet (as long as you're all well behaved, of course). Children are welcome too, there's plenty of room for them to run around and the pool has a wading pool just for the littlies.Charters Towers Golf Course is right next door to the caravan park..So, consider yourself invited to experience our wonderfully warm country hospitality and ideal facilities at the Dalrymple Tourist Van Park.
