When you think of belly dancing do you think of scantily dressed beauties dancing in the harem?? That is actually a Hollywood invention!! Belly dancing is based on age-old folk dances performed at weddings, births and other celebrations in the middle east. Traditionally, dancers are fully clothed. Nefertiti dance classes are friendly, fun and suitable for everyone! We are a multicultural dance group and include Bollywood, gypsy, cabaret and fusion dance styles as well as Egyptian folkloric styles. It doesn't matter if you have 3 left feet - come along and join in. Our Thursday evening class in Hervey Bay is suitable for all levels of dancer - from beginners right up to performance level and is a great way to improve your fitness level without undue stress on joints and muscles. Our performance group would love to add sparkle and pizzaz by dancing at your event! For class details or to enquire about a performance - please call 0427 248 664
