  TLILIC108A Licence to operate a Forklift TruckThis course provides training for individuals who wish to gain a licence to operate a forklift (LF).                    Course content includes:                    Plan work                    Conduct Routine checks                    Shift loads                    Monitor site conditions                    Shut down and secure siteBeginner Course durationBalance Training runs courses most weeks with a maximum of 6 individuals in each course. Two days of theory and practical training at our premises and the Licence assessment is conducted on a third day.Pre-requisitesAll clients must be at least 18 years prior to commencing the course, and have a good basic understanding of English.Course LocationBalance Training & Assessments Pty Ltd (Mars Forklift Services Site)Cnr Cowpasture & Newton rds. (Western End) Wetherill Park NSW, or your site.  Training DeliveryTraining occurs at our purpose built training facility is located in Wetherill Park. Or it can be undertaken at your site. The theory component is undertaken in our classroom where your learning is supported through high quality learning materials and resources. Practical training occurs in our simulated warehouse where you will operate a forklift to industry standards through a range of challenging situations to develop and refine your skills. Participation in practical training activities will be restricted to individuals who have appropriate clothing and footwear.Pre-Assessment and Licence AssessmentWe adopt a range of assessment methods to ensure flexibility for clients as well as meeting the specific requirements of the unit(s) from the TLI20107 Transport and Logistics training package. Pre-assessment methods include practical demonstrations, written tests and oral questioning. Clients who require additional learning support or assistance should inform Balance Training prior to course commencement to ensure this support is available. The actual Licence assessment is conducted by an accredited WorkCover Assessor.
