NorthstarJuJitsu is a unique set of self-defence programs for children and adults that integrates traditional elements of JuJitsu, Taekwondo, Judo and kick boxing. NorthstarJuJitsu was developed by one of Martial Arts highest achievers, Andy Dickinson, specifically for our hectic modern lives as a practice for self-defence and fitness, but also personal growth. The Northstar system has 4 specific programs; 3 for children in different age groups; Little Stars (3-4), Bright Stars (5-8) and Super Stars (9-14); and a separate class for adults with regular workshops for the different needs for women and men. From your very first free lesson you'll take away helpful self defence moves and tips. In three months you'll be fitter and have learnt the basic self defence. In 12 months, you'll be at least a green belt and on your way to a black belt (usually 2-4 years). NorthstarJuJitsu is different because it's the only system developed for Australia and all trainers are graduates of the Northstar system.If you live in Balmain fitness and self-defence can easily become a part of your life and you'll be welcome into the Northstar community. There are classes everyday at the Northstar Martial Arts Head Quarters located at372 Darling St inside the PCYC building. Our studio and office are on the ground floor. We are next to the library and almost opposite the fire station. The Balmain studio services Sydney inner west, greater western Sydney and Marrickville areas.
