Alternative Communication Strategies
This course will assist you to: 1. Help people gain access to both high and low-technology options that will improve their ability to communicate with others 2. It will also allow you to help those you support make informed decisions when designing or selecting new communication systems You will review a variety of unaided (non-electronic) AAC systems and aided (electronic) AAC systems, including low-technology aids that you may create or adapt for people you support.
