Our consulting practice primarily focuses on: Doing things right – leveraging best practice approaches to increase the chances of delivery success in a way that makes sense to the particular organization. Doing the right things – making sure investments are in the projects or business changes which will deliver the best value for money. There is no point in doing well that which should not be done at all. We therefore operate at all levels in an organisation. Examples of the type of engagements we commonly perform are: Assessing organizational maturity in delivering projects and programs. Developing capability improvement plans. Determining measures of progress and achievement. Designing simple but effective dashboards for management reporting. Providing briefings to senior management. Advising on aspects of governance, benefits or project management. Aligning initiatives with strategic goals. Establishing PMOs Writing organisation-specific guidelines or procedures and providing any necessary training. Mentoring project and program staff. Facilitating workshops. Consulting services timeframes In general our engagements last from 5 – 60 days after which we might perform intermittent assessments of performance. Our objective is to embed knowledge and good practice into organisations, not ourselves. Consulting services outcomes The nature of engagements differs. However, we always check that the expectations of clients are met. We like to define these at the start of an engagement. Most engagements are followed by a report to the sponsor and all engagements include regular feedback to the appropriate stakeholders.
