Hiking trip to Drigung Ti Monastery, then through a wild, unpopulated area, to finally reach the De Zhong Hot Spring.
Drigung Ti Monastery is the main monastery of Gagyu Sect of the White Denomination, which is one of the four major denominations of Tibetan Buddhism, (as for Tibet Buddhism-Gagyu Sect, please read the introduction below).
It is located on the top of a mountain by the Xue Rong River, which is
in Men Ba Township, Medro Gongkar. It has a picturesque landscape that
looks like a painting of mountains, rivers, and clouds when viewed from a
distance. Many people travel great distances to reach Drigung Ti
Monastery, where they seek to be blessedby Drigung Fa
Wang, the top religious leader in this monastery. The Gate to Heaven
will be opened to those pilgrims who have been given such blessings. It
is believed that after death the spirit can fly directly to Heaven
through this Gate. Zhi Gong Fa Wang is regarded as the most powerful
person in making this possible. Drigung Sky Burial Site is world-famous,
and it is the biggest in Tibet, also the second largest in the world.
After visiting the monastery, one can hike through a natural area that
begins from a valley near Jing Da Ge Village to the east of the Zhi Gong
