LBHC believes that the nervous system governs the function of the body.
A good functioning body means less pain in joints and muscles.
Our chiropractors use safe, gentle neurological corrections to achieve good function.
LBHC recognises all people are different hence the variety of approaches to a healthy spine and body. LBHC use the techniques listed below to achieve this to provide holistic natural health care:
Did you know that your body relies on 1000 trillion nerve connections between your brain & body to exist? This is where your chiropractor comes in ... chiropractic treatments address neurological "short circuits" between your brain & your body. This is why so many health conscious people are making chiropractic part of their lifestyle.
Chiropractic is based on the spine and removing spinal misalignments to help you move and feel better. Chiropractors use adjustments that help correct spinal misalignments. Chiropractors are trained in the same universities and then they specialise in specific areas. Now for the LBHC difference.
LBHC chiropractors are trained specifically in the nervous system. Hence we assess the body as a whole and treat the body as a whole to get to the root cause/s of your pain. We regularly treat the spine but we also recognise the importance of treating areas outside of the spine. For example long term back and neck pain will load one leg more hence the need to adjust the foot and/or knee on one or both sides. LBHC use impulse adjusting/corrections which means we often treat people without "cracking" the spine. A lot of new patients that come in visibly relax when they hear this. However, people who have previously seen a chiropractor do prefer this method and we listen to their wishes.
