In ten sessions you will feel better, in 20 sessions you will look better, and in thirty sessions you will have a whole new body" - Joseph Pilates Our Physiotherapist is a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor. She has completed Lifecare's comprehensive 500hr (one year) course and has been regularly instructing a range of clients. Combining Pilates with a Physiotherapist's medical background provides an exceptional level of biomechanical analysis and correction - our physio is easily able to determine where the deficits and opportunities are within your body, to improve your condition and maximise your body's abilities. Clinical Pilates is muscle re-education specifically targeting your individual needs and goals. Pilates is an excellent core strength training program as well as a great whole body workout. When supervised by our experienced Physiotherapist it is an ideal form of rehabilitation for spinal pain, sporting injuries or postural problems. Postnatally, Pilates is a great way to safely strengthen your muscles and regain your pre-baby body! All Pilates particpants undergo an Initial Assessment with our Physiotherapist. You will be assessed for injuries, posture, joint tightness or laxity and muscle imbalances (strengths and weaknesses, muscular tightness, abnormal muscle patterns), particularly focusing on your 'core' muscles. Your body's individual needs will be identified and you will be taught the basic postures required to succeed in our premium Pilates studio. Private Health Fund rebates available for Clinical Pilates (see below). Why Mint?
