Uncomfortable positions are often reflective of the directions your body prefers to move. As research progresses into the efficiency and value of Pilates, it is increasingly clear that, just as the people doing Pilates are different, the exercises that provide the greatest benefit will be different.
DMA Clinical Pilates is very different from the generic or Fitness Pilates, and uses a thorough technique to assess your injury history, current complaints, and possible aggravating factors, and addresses them with a personalised program that delivers faster, more lasting results.
Our programs are delivered using the latest Pilates equipment, such as trapeze and reformers. We offer both private sessions and semi-private sessions (up to 3 people per class), six days per week, including Saturday, to see prices and what days/times they are run, please click here.
What you can expect
We offer both private and semi-private Clinical Pilates sessions. Before starting a program, all of our clients undergo a thorough assessment with a Physiotherapist, so a personalised program can be formed. Your Physiotherapist will also show you how to use the equipment and ensure you are doing the correct techniques in a safe and comfortable way.
Our programs are used in conjunction with Physio techniques and are designed to find and fix the underlying cause of the injury or complaint, not just the injury itself. Your program will be closely supervised and continuously reviewed to ensure you are achieving the results you want.
