Sore n' tight glutes with a horrid shooting pain down your leg? Your piriformis muscle may be to blame!
A tight piriformis can cause sciatica-like symptoms into the leg, made worse with lots of sitting or walking but eased off with a gentle walk. It can be caused by changes in your day-to-day activities and muscle imbalances in you back, hips, or legs; even your feet!
After releasing your piriformis, your physio will diagnose the cause of it's tightness, and get you to lengthen, strengthen, and improve your posture for long-term relief.
