PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP – Sunday, August 07 – INFORMATION
Bruno Kongawoin, (www.lightbent.com), and I have been making preparations for our next Photography Workshop, this coming Sunday.
Our Model has been chosen, along with the Workshop Theme, both determined and rehearsed. Our Model is to be Ms. Neel Pori, (her first name is pronounced: ‘neil’, as in the boys name).
Neel comes to us from Bangladesh and she has had a suitable amount of modelling experience. It is a pleasure to work with Neel, as her many and varying posing techniques assist photographers to achieve their creative images.
The Theme of our August Workshop is along the lines of using and understanding ‘Light’, as it has been within our previous Workshops. But this time - as Bruno and I continue to provide an ever increasing photography skill level to the people regularly attending our Workshops - we are to start the Workshop in the Studio, with instruction received from Bruno, to use light to soften and enhance the Skin of the Model and also to see the way light is used to achieve a ‘Quality” of Light intensity, in preference to just an Application of Light, to a Subject.
From my personal experience so far, under the direction of Bruno, I now look at the Quality of Light, versus the ‘Quanity’ of Light, on a Subject and have found there to be a very distinct and remarkable difference, between the two. On Sunday, we will be taking those Lighting Skills learned in the Studio, to the Outdoors and employ those same tactics to our Model's skin. This is very similar to what a Fashion Photographer may experience, when working outdoors. All participants will be receiving a ‘hands on’ experience to engage the Model and achieve the Lighting Effects which are to be taught
Bruno and I will be there to assist those who need help, with either the understanding of the 'Quality of Light' and also the Posing and/or Direction of the Model, to achieve your desired image.
There are still vacancies available for our Workshop next Sunday, so I hope to see you all on the day and should anyone require more information about this Event, please contact me accordingly.
