Ultrasound, Philips, Damage
Do you have a Philips X7-2 TEE/TOE probe?
Yes? Check the tip for scratches and bubbling into the lens coating.
ProbeLogic have had several of these probes sent in for repair over the past 3 months with scratching to the face of the probe. This damage can be an electrical safety hazard and can allow water ingress, which will cause irrepairable damage to the probe.
Please view our full article at http://www.probelogic.com.au/information/newsletters/mailing/view/listid-0/mailingid-15/listype-1 for images showing this damage
If there is any doubt, ProbeLogic recommend the probe be inspected by a ProbeLogic technician to ensure your probe is safe for use.
Due to the high price of these probes, please inspect your probe to make sure you are not affected.
