Our approach to therapy

Mediator Style Resolution and Training has developed a therapeutic model to help clients build conflict resolution skills, resolve inner turmoil, and increase their ability to get more satisfying outcomes in any conflict situation.

We utilise psychological therapeutic models that are supported by evidenced-based research. We encourage experimentation and learning by doing. So what we do is likely to be helpful and unlikely to be harmful. You will find our approach has a strong emphasis on practical problem-solving. In any one consultation, we usually start by reviewing your progress so far, we do some trouble-shooting if you need it, and then help you to go a bit further. We won't encourage you just to sit around and talk about your problem.
