FLOWERS AND HUMAN CULTURE
Glyde-In Community Learning Centre Inc.
In this session guided by Paul Green- Armytage, we will explore the many roles of flowers in human society: their roles as symbols, as a kind of language and as a model for our concept of beauty. This unusual, creative session will be part hands-on activity, part research project, part quiz and part lecture with discussion following. You will come away with a greater appreciation of our relationship with flowers but also with the desire to see flowers again with the innocent eyes of childhood… to look at them and simply enjoy them for what they are.
