300+ Passenger Wave Piercing Catamaran Ferry
Naval Architecture and Marine Solutions
Ferry, Naval Architects, Marine Consultants
Our single deck wave piercing catamaran ferry is designed to Bureau of Veritas Survey for High Speed & Light Craft, to carry 300+ passengers at 29 knots.
This custom aluminium design was to meet clients’ specific requirements, including boarding lobbies complete with hinged ramps, removing the need for gangways ashore and also a separate cabin for injured persons or for passengers that are to be kept in isolation whilst on the ferry.
This Naval Architecture and Marine Solutions arrangement can be customised to include a cafeteria, snack bar or gift shop.
For vessels designed for shorter travel times, there is scope to reduce the pitch of the forward facing seats and therefore increase seating capacity.
Naval Architecture and Marine Solutions can provide a full production design package for the ferry, which would assist in build efficiency and reduce material wastage. The design package could consist of all construction and engineering drawings, including nested plates.
