Practical Completion Inspections

By: Resicert Property Inspections  02-Feb-2011
Keywords: Building Inspection, Practical Completion Inspections

This is an inspection on a new home which has just been constructed. This is undertaken as part of the handover process from the builder to the client. Items which are raised during this inspection are then provided to the builder to rectify prior to final handover. This inspection is similar to a pre-purchase inspection, however the level of detail and expectation of the standard of finishing is much higher. This inspection will include items relating to tiling, flooring, cabinets, doors, windows and fitting and operation of all appliances as well as checking the structural integrity of the home.
