Poorly maintained or rusted valleys are a common cause of roof leaks. Leaves can block the flow of the water down the valley and divert the water over the edges and onto your celling or roof space. Valleys concentrate the water into a high volume water stream, as the water comes down the roof and increases volume, insufficient sized valleys can cause leaking into roof space, ceiling, eaves or eave lining. Roofology will check all your valleys and flashings for blockages and rust, as well as checking whether the size of the flashing can cope with the water volume, especially in heavy downpours of rain. All gutters and downpipes eventually need replacing. If yours are rusted, leaking, or blocked beyond repair, let us come out for a measure and quote. We have a great range to choose from including Colorbond® steel, Zincalume® steel, aluminium or galvinised products. All roofing services can be trusted with Roofology.
