EXERCISE REHABILITATION – Exercises will usually be prescribed by your physiotherapist following assessment of the problem. The aim is to regain or improve posture, movement, conditioning, strength or balance (proprioception) depending on the cause of the problem. Exercises may be tailored following surgery depending on the type of procedure and stage of recovery. Studies have shown that physiotherapy prescribed exercise programs are effective in promoting rapid recovery and return to the workplace.
