Slow things down in regards to speed, but amp things up in regards to depth, quality and activation. Particular postures are held for 30-60 seconds to build isometric strength in the muscles and give opportunity to refine activation , alignment & awareness. We still include a smooth flowing "wash out" vinyasa flow to help you keep the body fluid & energy flowing.
Slower pace (or more of a Hatha style practice). The focus is on classic postures. Working to refine alignment, deepen activation and stabilise breathe control throughout the practice. This is a fantastic place for beginners, injured, ageing and pregnant bodies as the pace is slower...but don't be mistaken...that doesn't mean it's an easy class. We also HIGHLY recommend even the most advanced yogi's drop in to this one as it will assist you in keeping a close grip on any poor habits that creep in to your practice as well as build important strength required for deep activation during more dynamic practices.
It takes real strength, real stamina, and a truly disciplined mind to master this practice. Certainly the truest, safest, well rounded & highly beneficial practice for EVERY level of yogi.
