Each yoga class is 1.5 hour and covers relaxation, joint rotations, limbering, asana or yoga postures, pranayama or conscious breathing and still mind meditation.
Yoga mats,blankets and cushions are provided, though of course you may bring your own if you prefer. Pink salt lamps and tea light candles light the studio at night and provide a comforting,soothing and relaxing environment. Gentle yoga music always accompanies our yoga practice. You will be brought out of meditation at the end of class by the soft chiming of a Tibetan bell, palms of the hands come together as we incline our heads and say namaste.
Clear instruction is given and class sizes are small so you will always feel comfortable and confident about what you are doing in class. Remember, asana means steadiness and ease,so this will always be the focus in the physical part of the class.
