The Nest Music is a live music and production house with an arts collective of performers who have a combined 30 years of experience. The Nest Music provides audio applications from original ambient electro through to duos, Bands. Singing Telegrams. Music Production.Voice Overs. Licensing. Community Projects. Creative Director, Matt Davidson (aka Mildsparrow) has numerous self-released albums and published tracks to date, and has spent many years as a self-released performing artist. Matt primary focus is within the musical production specialising in the creation, licensing and distribution of aural works for the global market by providing both individualised and unique tracks for a myriad of applications within industries and communities requiring a sonic product. Matt is currently studying a Diploma in Community Services (2014) and has experience working in the mental health, disability and housing sectors. He has been a volunteer for years at the Women’s Foundation of Nepal (refuge for women and children). Matt is currently contracted as Sound Director to work for Frankston City Council, within program Get Out!(a visual and performing arts program for adults with a disability, providing respite for their family and voluntary carers). His involvement includes active participation, music creation, an archive collection, and production of sound bytes for a drama/theatre show in September 2014. Managing Director, Eliana Deur, manages The Nest Music and is the lead facilitator of the arts collective projects for youth. She has a BA Youth Studies with past experience in residential care, case-management, project management (youth drop-in centre, school liaison, coordinating youth services) and implementing various youth transition programs (peer, vocational, personal development and life skills) predominantly within the education sector. With years of performance experience, musical qualifications and two independent EP’s to date, Eliana has found her voice and place in the Melbourne musical landscape. Since 2011, Eliana has been performing as lead, back-up vocalist, percussionist and keys in The Migrations, Sentiment-O-Grams, and is currently working as in-house vocalist on an electronic project, collaborating with producer Mildsparrow with tracks resounding an eclectic mix of trip-hop and dance-euro trance genres.
