Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a type of Emotional Acupuncture in which you combine focused thought with gentle tapping on key acupuncture points. This technique has been described by some as one of the most important breakthroughs in the area of energy psychology in this century. It has been used successfully with thousands of people with a broad range of difficulties. The main belief behind EFT is that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. By clearing the disruptions in the body’s energy pathways we are able to release the emotional conflicts and blocks which create stress, negative emotions and limiting beliefs. When these blockages are released, the emotions come into balance.
Our behaviours and thoughts are determined by our emotions and sometimes no matter how hard we try to rationalise these we find we are still caught up in the emotion. EFT allows us to reduce and in most cases even eliminate the trapped emotion thus allowing us to process events with clarity and perspective. We are then in the empowered position to transform both thought and behaviour into something that can free us and enable us to reach our true potential.
The EFT tapping techniques are a series of astoundingly fast and easy processes and can help just about anyone to achieve genuine freedom from the emotions that have created problems in their lives..
The following patterns are examples of energetic patters that have been successfully treated with EFT.
• Fears related to performance like public speaking, concentration, sports, etc.
• Phobias like the fear of heights, flying, enclosed spaces, driving, etc.
• Emotional trauma from war experiences, physical abuse, etc.
• Disturbing emotions like anxiety, depression and anger.
• Emotions related to addictive patterns like eating and smoking
• Emotions related to physical conditions.
