Helping out is in the Jeans
Personal Care, Disability, Home Care
In a break with company dress code, many After-Care Carers and staff dressed down today and wore their jeans to work.
But rather than getting in trouble, it was all smiles from management; after all, they were wearing jeans as well.
Friday 2nd August was Jeans for Genes Day, where everyone wears their jeans to raise funds for vital research carried out by scientists at the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).
Shane Kelly, Managing Director of After-Care noted that the CMRI’s research has the ability to change the future for children with genetic diseases.
“We are happy to encourage everyone at After-Care to be a part of the solution. By supporting Jeans for Genes Day in our workplace, we are helping to one day find a cure.”
