introduction of the VePAL TX130M+, a purpose built tester to validate next
generation packet synchronization technologies implemented in Mobile backhaul
and Carrier Ethernet networks. The unit is the industry’s first handheld
solution capable of emulating both Master and Slave clocks according to ITU-T
G.8261 SyncE and IEEE1588v2 standards. This is particularly useful for Carriers
since either one or both these protocols can be implemented in the mobile
network or cell site depending on deployment scenario.
