The 61850easy software comes pre-installed onto a small form factor desktop PC. 61850easy VIRTUAL is also available to users who wish to install a 61850easy Software Package onto their own PC/laptop or other compatible device. The virtual package removes the need for an additional hardware device and enables the easy installation of the software onto Windows based operating systems through compatible VMware platforms. The 61850easy eradicates the myth that the configuration and usage of an IEC 61850 based substation automation system can only be achieved by communication protocol experts. The real content of the IEDs data is presented along with the IEC 61850 models, making visualization of the IEC 61850 data simple to follow.An integrated HMI and Alarm Annunciator give engineers another visual aspect of the system.
Test & Simulation: 61850Easy provides GOOSE Simulator allowing users to simulate IEC 61850 capable IEDs using their corresponding SCL files (ICD/CID/SCD). The Logic module allows creation of test sequences to be played based on system monitoring or timing conditions, simplifying system tests like ‘Interlocking’, ‘Auto-re closing’ etc.
