Our Business Conference is a key event for the company, and the only time each year that the majority of staff (around 140) join together from across the business in Australia and overseas. ACE Training were a pivotal part of this year's Conference, facilitating four concurrent sessions which all aimed to get people out of their comfort zones, to take personal risks and to support colleagues in their risk taking - we had everything from a mobile rock climbing/abseiling wall set up at the rear of the hotel carpark to serious circus skills training. The ACE staff were outstanding; well prepared, skilled, engaging and able to pitch the activities for all levels of ability. Probably most memorably, the ACE team also hosted our themed evening dinner, in which groups performed self-choreographed dances to iconic pop music, 'Dancing with the Staff'. Their MC was superb, and the camaraderie within the dance groups was fantastic. They even supplied a professional photographer to record some pretty memorable moments and importantly managed to keep the evening's program on the incredibly tight time frames we had set. We also had other providers including a keynote speaker involved in the day, and it is a tribute to the professionalism of the ACE outfit that they were able to work alongside them so seamlessly.
The distinguishing feature of working with ACE was that they genuinely cared about the success of your day, and worked with us as if they were part of our company, members of our team. ACE brought an amazing attention to detail, were alert to the unique culture of our company and flexible in responding to our specific requirements. It was a pleasure - and a lot of fun - working with Daniel Cohen and the ACE Training team, and they contributed enormously to the success of our 2013 Business Conference.
