TRAINING & CONDITIONING

Traditionally strength and conditioning is associated with elite sporting teams and often one envisages that this is only for those participating in competitive sports. However, life is much more sedentary and work focused these days and often we forget that we as humans are built to move and be active.

Prolonged sitting postures and inactivity often leads to various postural strains and other musculoskeletal aches and pains. In a world where we are more time poor than ever before, yet much more aware of the work-life-balance philosophy, regular and consistent training and conditioning can help you take the next step towards this balance.

Training and conditioning consultations are suited to not only those who play sport or have specific injuries and those with specific goals, but also for those individuals seeking a more balanced, energetic and healthy life. The training and conditioning consultation requires the individual to undergo an initial full musculoskeletal screen to identify any imbalances, pre-existing injuries and movement limitations. Each program designed is tailored towards your particular needs and goals and will involve a combination of stretching, mobilising movements, strength and conditioning and balance exercises. All programs incorporate functional movement based exercises so that you can function at an optimal state.
