 Following launch of new X-Zoom IR Infrared Illuminator with 50X optical power zoom Applied Infrared Sensing (AIS) has taken a further step and has introduced to Australian infrared market unique illuminator for special tasks.

Low-profile plate design with infrared LED makes this IR illuminator ideal for covert surveillance. It features a small window to allow installation of a hidden miniature surveillance camera. To blend with environments Covert IR can be inscribed with various signage options such as “No Smoking”, “Exit” or “Employees Only”.

Covert IR has an extremely light weight (only 100g) and a very wide viewing angle (up to 160°). It is made from special aluminum alloy and shows high performance results in temperatures from -30 C° to +40 C°. Illuminating distances up to 3m for usual cameras and up to 5 m for more sensitive cameras, this exceptional infrared illuminator is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Covert IR carries an IP55 environmental protection rating with complete protection against dust and direct water sprays.
