Experience since 1972 in the accounting profession in Australia and the United Kingdom including 10 years audit assignments in Australia and the United Kingdom. Professional registrations include being a registered tax agent and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (Fellow)(1976) and Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia (1995)
Foundation member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia(Vic. Division) Forensic Accountants Special Interest Group (1999).
Academic qualifications are a Diploma of Business (Swinburne 1973), post graduate Diploma of Securities Analysis (1983) and Professional Certificate in Arbitration and Mediation (Adelaide 1999).
As a Principal or Partner of Arthur Young, Ernst & Young and now Wettenhall & Co., Roly Wettenhall has prepared or been part of valuation teams for approximately 250 valuation and litigation matters.
Expert testimony has been given for the Federal and Family Courts and Supreme and County Courts in Victoria.
Expert determinations are provided in respect of commercial transactions, past or contemplated, that may be in dispute as between partners in business, suppliers and customers and other commercial parties.
