Our half-day Birth Confidence Workshops are perfect for reducine fear and anxiety and helping you feel confident & embrace pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood
Our Birth Confidence Workshop includes: Strategies for a Confident Birth; TENS for Labour; Use of the gym ball; Massage; Meditation/Inner Calm Breathing; Staying Mobile; Staying Upright Support Strategies for partners; Strategies for a Positive Pregnancy; Posture & Back Care; How to Stay Fit Safely; Pelvic Floor Preservation. Our dynamic and practical workshop aims to increase your confidence and skills for labour and improve mental inner strength. We also teach massage and discuss slings. This provides a great opportunity to improve your comfort, posture and well-being during pregnancy, and to prepare you for labour and motherhood. It is a fun and interactive workshop, and a great way for your partner/support person to learn with you. The workshop is open to all women of Geelon and is held at St John of God Hospital, Myers St, Geelong Education Room - Clancy House.
