VINELAND ADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR SCALES Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second Edition (Vineland-II) The Vineland-II is the leading measure of personal and social skills needed for everyday living. It aids in diagnosing and classifying learning difficulties and other disorders, such as autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays. The Vineland-II takes 20-60 minutes to administer and is most often used as part of a diagnostic assessment. WPPSI COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence – Fourth Edition The WPPSI-IV is an individually administered intelligence test for children between the ages of 2 year 6 months to 7 years 7 months. The WPPSI-IV takes 45-60 minutes to administer and generates an IQ score which represents a child’s general cognitive ability. The WPPSI-IV has five Primary Index scales assessing Verbal Comprehension, Visual Spatial, Working Memory, Fluid Reasoning, and Processing Speed. WISC COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children -Fourth Edition (WISC-IV) The WISC-IV is an individually administered intelligence test for children between the ages of 6 and 16 inclusive that can be completed without reading or writing. The WISC-IV takes 60-90 minutes to administer and generates an IQ score which represents a child’s general cognitive ability. The Full Scale IQ score is composed of the scores from four cognitive domains important for intellectual functioning in children, namely: the Verbal Comprehension Index (VCI), Perceptual Reasoning Index (PRI), Working Memory Index (WMI) and the Processing Speed Index (PSI). Please note that the WISC-IV does not measure academic ability or abilities associated with reading, sporting skills, personal characteristics, and emotional functioning.
