Fighting Fit might just be the greatest training program you've ever come across. Fighting Fit rolls together the best from Thai-Bo style kickboxing cardio fitness, bodyweight strength and conditioning exercises, partner training and elements of self defence. This program is truely one of a kind! While the self defense is a major part of the program, the fitness and exercise side is also a big part. You’ll get an exhilarating and exciting workout which will compliment the abilities and skills you'll need, incorporating many of the techniques and combinations you learned during the self-defense part of the session. Once we are finished with you, you’ll truly be Fighting Fit!

 

The Fighting Fit system has been put together to boost your confidence in yourself and your abilities. It aims to equip the everyday person with the tools and knowledge to avoid and diffuse confrontation and, where necessary, overcome and deal with any attackers. As these techniques and strategies are intended for everyday people, the techniques are both simple and effective – meaning that no past experience or knowledge of combat is needed. Anyone and everyone can learn them – in fact, anyone and everyone should learn them.

The main focus of the Fighting Fit system is not fancy and complicated techniques - although a lot of these tecnniques will work - you can't learn them and develop them as a reaction overnight - or even in four weeks. In order for this system to truley work, the strategies need to be both simple and effective - this way over the course of the program you can start to develop them as reactions and instinct. That is exactly what we have done - a lot of the strategies you will learn involve very basic footwork and body positioning which puts you in the best possible position while limiting the options of the attacker. This isn't a self defence course developed to look good - this is real world self defence.

While the self defense is a major part of the program, the fitness and exercise side is also a big part. You’ll get an exhilarating and exciting workout which will compliment the abilities and skills you'll need, incorporating many of the techniques and combinations you learned during the self-defense part of the session. Once we are finished with you, you’ll truly be Fighting Fit!

With qualifications like Certificate III in Sports Coaching, specialising in martial arts, Certificate III and IV in Fitness and 10 years martial arts experience, you can rest assured that you are learning from someone who knows what they are talking about.
