Awaiting Approval for FaHCSIA Better Start Provider

Introduced on 1 July 2011, Better Start aims to provide services for children aged 0-6 years of age with Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment or Fragile X Syndrome.  The initiative allows families to access $12000 over 2 years to assist families in accessing early intervention services from a range of allied health professionals.  Professionals need to be approved by FaHCSIA to be able to provide services.  We are currently awaiting approval and hope to report back soon.
