This week we are very privileged to have been chosen as the topic for Letter of the Week by Imogen Blacklock. This brilliant piece of artwork completed for
this week’s school homework and is the end result of her tenacious research skills and adept drawing talents.
11 year old Imogen is the daughter of Owen Blacklock who is the operations manager of Britrac, Kinder & Co’s distribution partners in Queensland.
Britrac is based out of Townsville and supplies conveyor rollers, skirting, belting and frame structures to major mining and quarrying customers throughout
Queensland. Like Kinder & Co, Britrac is an Australian family-run business that spans over 20 years in the bulk materials handling industry. Britrac
supplies a range of conveyor hardware, as well as a maintenance fitting and repair service. They also offer design and drafting capabilities. Britrac a has
multi-skilled team of mechanical fitters and turners, boiler makers, belt splicers/rubber liners, apprentice fitters and apprentice boiler makers.
Clearly the engineering genes have been inherited by Grade 5 student Imogen as her labelled picture of a roller demonstrates her interest in the workings
of the Kinder & Co K-Polymer Conveyor Rollers.
Good job Imogen, you get an A++ from all the team at Kinder & Co!
