Don't join a gym! Unless you like taking your turn for sets on equipment you need to use!
Stop paying for the gym's equipment and fixtures and fittings and on top of that paying for the trainer. Come to me and you just pay for the trainer - at a price that doesn't have to include the gym's cut of the workout so it's cheaper - and if I say so - better.
Today's best practice workouts use limited equipment and focus on intensity - something that is lost when you have to wait your turn on the leg machine!
In one session a week (or three for a full fitness workover) with me you can have it all - a scientifically researched style program with me and a fitness timetable of your own for the other days. I'll include an individualised meal program and online and phone support for your at-home program.
PTs usually fall into two categories... academics who know what to do but haven't done it, or meatheads who do what they do but don't know why.

First we do a free fitness assessment. Then I use the results to write a program and to assess the efficacy of the training program when it's finished.
As well as sessions in house, I set 'homework' and encourage you towards dietary corrections with sound up to date advice and a points system with rewards (read 'free massage').
I also offer exercise prescription as part of the massage service.
Chris is an exercise professional with 25 years experience. That doesnt mean his training is old fashioned - quite the opposite. Current accredited training qualifications (Physical Activity Australia) and regular updates combined with a sports science degree as part of his teacher training, mean you couldn't be in better hands.
For eight years, Chris was a 'drilly' at the Victoria Police Academy in Glen Waverley. After being drawn to the fact that the physical condition of recruits in training had gradually declined, the police heirachy seconded Chris to run a team which successfully secured the reintroduction of organised P.T. sessions after a 10 year absence.
The team was also responsible for introducing degree qualified instructors to run the sessions. Prior to this, Chris was the only sports science degree qualified instructor in the operational safety unit training and testing the fitness of recruits in training, probationary constables and operational police members.
