Helping Hands Osteopathy also offers Myotherapy treatments. Tammy Hales is our resident Myotherapist at Helping Hands Osteopathy. Tammy has worked for a number of elite sporting organisations including Melbourne Storm, VIS gymnastics, Australian Ballet and NICA (National Institute of Circus Arts). Tammy has significant experience teaching dance and gymnastics and has a special interest in myotherapy treatment for dancers & gymnasts in particular. She has first-hand experience when it comes to dealing with her own sporting injuries, which stems from her background as a performer in both dance and gymnastics. Since the birth of her two children (Aiden in 2011 and Lilly in 2013), Tammy has an increased interest in pre-natal and post-natal myotherapy treatment. Tammy also holds a qualification in Clinical Pilates, which she has successfully combined with her myotherapy treatments to provide her patients with additional knowledge and benefits. Tammy has worked closely with other health professionals including chiropractors, physiotherapists, other myotherapists, pilates instructors and massage therapists. Tammy enjoys helping people from a variety of different backgrounds who present with a wide range of conditions. So whether you’re an office worker, a trades person, a keen gardener, an athlete, or even pregnant, Tammy has the knowledge and skills to help treat your musculoskeletal pain.
