If you’re always trying to prop up your tablet computer or cookbook, you need a padpod, a pyramid-shaped beanbag that stabilises an iPad, Kindle, phone or book.
This smart product was invented by Melbourne teen Ellie Jane, and the padpod e-commerce site was launched in October 2012.
You are always comfortable when using a padpod with your tablet device, smartphone, or eReader. Whether you have it on your lap, in bed, on a desk or table, in the car or wherever!
What can I use a padpod for? If you use a tablet device like an iPad, eReader or smartphone to watch movies, play games, read books or attend to emails, you will do it a lot more comfortably with a padpod wherever you are. A padpod can even be used to support books (real ones made from paper).
Chiropractors are seeing more and more patients with neck pain, headaches, tension and difficult to treat spinal strains as the use of mobile devices increase. We’re not surprised to hear that mobile is taking over desktop, or that more than 50% of all video is viewed on mobile devices – we see the results of it on a daily basis!
Kids with neck strain, youngsters with headaches, adults lying in bed with their tablets resting on tummies and toddlers bent over like bananas – it’s a chiropractic nightmare. The PadPod is not a cure all but goes a long way in bringing innovative design to alleviating neck flexion.
