Bridget Foley's work is hand thrown on a potter's wheel using porcelain clay. She mixes all her own glazes and fires them in a gas kiln to 1300 C. She uses glazes such as celedons, chun, tenmoku and copper reds in a variety of ways, as well as constantly experimenting with glaze combinations that give her work a unique look.

Her work is mostly tableware, particularly different sizes of bowls, which are made to be used and enjoyed everyday. Because the ceramics is high fired, it is very strong and durable and is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

She regularly exhibits in art exhibitions around Melbourne and sells at several retail and gallery shops. Visitors are welcome to studio gallery by appointment.
