Stomp's journey began in 2008 in Australia and even before that in Finland in 2005. A Tasmanian living in Helsinki got the idea that combining exercise with video games might make fitness more entertaining. Several years later, it seems a lot of other people did as well! Stomp is the culmination of lots of crazy ideas, cool gizmos and gadgets, video games and contemporary commercial fitness equipment. We've blended all this stuff together and created the first Exergaming Gym (Ex-Gym) in Australia! Stomp is all about engagement. We've brought in some of the best commercial grade exergames on the planet and innovated some of our own to create a fitness experience that is engaging and entertaining. Is this 'serious' fitness? Ohhhh yes indeedy it is! We take fitness seriously, but not ourselves. If it sounds too good to be true, then you'll really need to check it out for yourself! See the thing is, when you make something entertaining time seems to slip away and when you apply this to exercise, your sessions seem shorter, much shorter. But here's the really cool bit, 'perceived effort' (PE) is also lower, so your sessions seem easier as well even though you my be exercising hard, very hard...brilliant! General information Stomp offers entertainment based group fitness programs, Power Rack training for strength, power and conditioning. Some of the coolest cardio and suspension equipment in Hobart. We're also integrating Personal Training, Rehabilitation and Massage through the last quarter of 2014. We definitely have the easiest membership options in Hobart from low casual rates per session for group and strength programs to pay by the month memberships and 12 month memberships. You do NOT pay any join up fees, cancellation fees, transaction fees...argghh, we hate those fees. Just pay then play, easy peasy! We really do have a price format that will suit anyone!
