The Federal Government is expanding the National Work for the Dole Program (WFTD).
Not-for-profits, such as churches, charities and community clubs are eligible to be a host organisation and have various work projects completed with WFTD participants.

The WFTD program will provide unemployed people to participate in the work projects.
Projects are usually six months in duration with a number of unemployed working for 2 or 4 days per week on the project.
The project is organised and supervised by GB CONCEPTS and BUILDING Lic: 201323 with the support of the WFTD program and the host organisation.

GB CONCEPTS and BUILDING will provide:
-An experienced supervisor to oversee the project and manage the WFTD workforce.
-All project planning and delivery.
-Risk assessment and WHS requirements.
-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each participant.
-WHS training for each participant.
-Insurances required by the WFTD program.

WFTD will provide:
-Unemployed participants for the program.
-Insurance cover for personal injury and WorkCover for each participant.
-Funding support for delivery of the program.
-Limited material funding for the project.
-A site visit and risk assessment in order to approve the project.
-Monitoring of the project.

Things you need to know:
-Working with children – all participants will be police checked if children are onsite, but it is preferred that the projects do not operate in the vicinity of children.
-We are not permitted to operate projects at schools or childcare centres.
-WFTD can work with other volunteers from the host organisation.
-Projects can operate over a number of sites.
-Areas that we will look at doing projects are Adelaide metro, Adelaide hills, Northern country areas, York Peninsula.
