Salter Dial Scales are being used as a courtesy scale at an IGA supermarket in New South Wales. Supplied by Accuweigh’s Melbourne branch, the Salter Salter Scales use a mechanical dial to display the weight readings eliminating the need for mains power to be installed near the scales.

The Salter 235-6S Dial Scales were supplied in a 5kg capacity using 20g divisions making them ideal for attaining fast and accurate weight readings of fruit and produce. The hanging Scales are fitted with a 150mm diameter dial face and is supplied with both top and bottom hooks for easy mounting.

This IGA store also purchased the optional egg scoop and bracket in stainless steel to hold the goods to be weighed. The housing of the Salter Dial Scales is constructed in lightweight high impact polymer plastics that are corrosion free.

George Salter & Co was started in England in 1760 with the manufacture of pocket steelyard scales and Salter Scales are now distributed to over 100 countries world-wide ensuring Salter is one of the world’s most recognised brands of scales.

Accuweigh has extensive industry experience in all forms of scales and weighing equipment with all products fully backed by eight sales and service branches across mainland states providing Superior Product & Superior Support to ensure client satisfaction.
