Back Pain, Physiotherapy, Neck Pain
Physiotherapy uses various techniques to help rid pain and have muscles and joints working to their full potential. Almost any condition that has affected muscles, joints and nerves can be assisted by physiotherapy.
Whether as a result of sports injuries, long term abuse or poor practice physical therapy, physiotherapy can help reduce damage by accelerating the healing process and repair pain and stiffness. Physiotherapists can also provide tips for problems which keep coming back or even how to tips to avoid problems recurring.
Initially a 40 minute physiotherapy assessment will be made by your physiotherapist so he may make a diagnosis. Once a diagnosis is reached, your physiotherapist will work with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan, taking into account your lifestyle, training and overall health.
Following your first assessment you will have review appointments of approximate 40 minutes, depending on the specific injury or problem. Your therapist will continually monitor your progress and modify treatment if necessary.
It is recommended, although not essential, to see the same physiotherapist for the injury or problem you may have. Such continuity may allow for a better understanding of the damage and to measure progress of the injury.
