Mound springs are natural outlets for the waters of the Great Artesian Basin, where underground pressure forces water to the surface in the desert regions of South Australia, Queensland and NSW. The 'Friends of Mound Springs' are a community group who help look after the springs. They came to Flat Earth Mapping to commission walking trail maps and brochures for distribution to visitors wishing to know more about these interesting Outback features.
