Course Description:

LVR & CPR must be completed every 6 months by electricians in Queensland

 
This course is for tradies, no fuss, no mucking around. You get the course done in a reasonable time frame and learn everything you need to know to rescue a sparkie in trouble.

Course Content:

JSA's, Risk assesments and paperwork needed

2002 electrical act on live work

LVR kit, checking it and when to get it out

Electrical Injuries

Burns- like the guy ontop of the train!!

Switchboard Rescue

DRSABCD

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
 

Course Duration: Approximate time to complete this course is 2 hours.


Entry Requirements: You do not have to be a trained Electrician to do this course. You can be a TA or Apprentice, just have an idea of the job site!!

 
Target Group: Electricians, Air Conditioning Specialists, Elevator and Lift maintanance, Data & Cable fitters. Recommended for anyone working with enough amps to damage your heart!!


Assessment: Progressive assessment of the competencies will be conducted throughout the course.


Award: On successful completion of the course the trainee will receive a statement of attainment for the units HLTCPR201B & LVR001


Recertification: The Electrical Code of Practice recommends competency acquisition every 6 months.
