A Billion dollar Industry Dominated by Women,
Where are the Men?
The personal development industry is a $19 billion dollar a year Industry dominated by women. I want to dispel the myth for men that it is woman’s work.
Who am I? Now I operate a global business based in the personal development Industry. Formerly from a traditional business back ground as you will see in a moment. Firstly what was the draw card for me to this Industry?
- The massive amounts of money on offer.
- A change of working and personal lifestyle.
I had delved into the personal development Industry for work purposes in training staff and then sitting through the boring courses which to me only waisted time. My thoughts now have somewhat changed. Little did I know then, how listening back then, may have changed the outcomes of many decisions I had made. Understanding my focus on where and what I want to achieve has driven me to take on this woman dominated Industry.
My back ground is from Rural Australia. Cunnamulla, Outback Queensland, the hub of the sheep Industry and no surprises, I was a shearing Contractor/entrepreneur. Started my company working within the mining Industry, supply equipment and tendering contracts. A Big money industry, with big costs and unappreciated personal value to me and staff involved with the industry.
The negativity and the financial climate the industry and the continuing underhanded tactics to be awarded work, took its toll financially and personally, so I needed to make a change and stumbled across this wonderful
I needed to be making the same income. My concern was how would I build this business, could I do this stuff, how come there aren’t many men?
Speaking for me only- western men don’t feel it is necessary to talk about what is bothering them. They would rather, secretly find answers to problems or just ignore them completely. After a period of time the issue bites at them and upsets everyone and then real problems occur. Under their skin they want to talk to someone, but at the same time, don’t want anyone to know that there is something wrong with them.
Vastly different if they are medically sick or injured (i.e. back injury) they will let the whole world know. Deeper and more personal issues, they see it as a sign of weakness and a form of failure, that’s how I thought anyway.
Urban man may be different I can’t speak for them. However working a business alongside a group of women and expressing how you feel and think, scares the pants of us. We are quite happy to sit back and let the ladies do the talking and be a spectator, yet in a traditional business the competition is on.
So how can we bring more men into the Personal Development Industry?
It is time to dispel this ignorance from Men who adopt the thoughts of it’s not real work,
I can’t just sit at home all day and talk,
Real work is when you have sweat running down your back and you are physically tired from exhaustion,
If you’re not doing 10 hrs a day you will go backwards.
Its woman’s work we can’t do a personal development business
Guess what fellas, we work for a living to create money, it doesn’t matter what field of work you are in, plumbing to truck driving, women are moving into your fields and you don’t hear any doubts in their actions and there are no doubts in the Personal Development Industry.
Our business model isn’t a CWA type business-we don’t sit around and discuss what is wrong with us. If you want to make big dollars like any business you have to apply the time to create it.
We don’t spread our feelings all over the net, for a poor me session. With the products we promote we use to benefit you, so you can grow your business.
We don’t do anything different than any other business does. We market, promote, advertise and train. The great products we have are a personal home study course which teaches new ways of thinking and managing how to focus on what you want to achieve, and with our training if you feel inclined you can share your wins to others or to your team.
I am in business for making money.
The one thing everyone strives to have and very few ever achieve it. This is the business of the future. The work from home industry is the fastest growing millionaires club, and men are missing out.
Gone are the days of ego, stature and promotion. The opportunity is here and now waiting for men and everyone to build a business based on the dreams and desires based around their lives.
Once I worked for money, now money works for me.
My life is my own, not traded for time.
You are trained by the people making the money.
You are with a company setting standards in the Industry.
Men the opportunity is waiting don’t let your fears of females detract you from the focused goal of creating money, wealth and security.
It is time to balance the ledger-
Bring some beef into business-
