Travellers looking to
book hotel or resort accommodation in Australia or New Zealand can now
enjoy hassle-free bookings while paying no fees, secure in the
knowledge that they are also covered by a lowest price guarantee.
CEO of AccommodationPlus.com.au, Mr Matt Eliason, said the service had
been set up to fill a gap in the market where people are often
frustrated by many aspects, including no live pricing, lack of live
room availability and hidden fees.
"Travellers can book a room with us
and not pay a fee, they can change dates and not pay a fee and they can
cancel and we do not charge them a fee," he said.
"To better meet consumer needs we have created a process that allows
visitors to see live pricing and also to see room availability at that
moment, right down to the number of rooms available when the room
availability becomes tight," he said.
Mr Eliason said accommodationplus.com.au was being transparent by not charging fees.
"Some of the biggest websites in the accommodation sector are growing
fat on a range of fees and charges that are applied at many stages of
the booking, booking change and cancellation process. Under our system
we do not charge users a fee ever.
He said it was now easy for people
so save while retaining full booking flexibility, within the limits
imposed by individual hotels.
In addition, selection of properties is made easier using dynamic
menues that allow available hotels to be quickly filters by aspects
such as star rating, accommodation type hotel facilities, plus location
within a city.
"We have designed the site to allow intending travellers to quickly locate the best options on the market at that time.
"Once they have narrowed down their search they can also use the blue
flag mapping feature to reassure themselves that the hotel is close
enough to where they want to be. If not, other nearby hotels are also
marked on the map."
Visitor confidence is further enhanced by independent customer rankings and comments on properties.
"Our entire aim is to make the consumer experience easier and to save them money," Mr Eliason said.
